Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

These sausage balls are delicious.  Crispy on the outside but still moist on the inside.  They can be baked right away or frozen uncooked and baked later.

Just mix together ground sausage, Bisquick mix, cream cheese, and shredded cheese.  I usually mix by hand to ensure that everything is well mixed.  Then form meat mixture into 1" balls and place on a baking sheet.

I baked some right away and froze some for later.  When baking immediately, bake in a 400 degree oven for 20-25 minutes or until brown.

When freezing first, place raw meatballs on a baking sheet lined with wax paper.  Freeze and place in gallon-size ziploc bag until ready to use.  When you are ready to bake them, place them directly from freezer onto a baking sheet and cook in a 400 degree oven for about 30-35 minutes or until brown.
